The Plush Toys, UFO Catchers, are soft, fabric dolls originally acquired from the crane games in the Japanese arcade halls. They were never sold in stores, and are very popular among collectors.  The availability is quite limited, and prices accordingly quite high.

The collectable value of the plush toys is based on the overall condition of the doll and whether or not all the tags (tush tag, hang/paper tags) are attached. Note that the plush dolls include some materials that get fragile and crumble if handled roughly or stored wrong.

There are 3 different Volumes of Final Fantasy VII Plush Toys.

Vol. 1 consists of 5 plush toys; Cloud, Aerith/Aeris, Barret, Red XIII and Chocobo.

Vol. 2 consists of 7 plush toys; Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Cid, Vincent, Sephiroth and Cait Sith.

Vol. 3 consists of 6 plush toys; Chocobo, Green Chocobo, Blue Chocobo, Black Chocobo, Gold Chocobo and Chubby Chocobo. This series of plush toys has been gaining popularity lately, and the chocobo plushes are now selling for about the same price as the other FFVII plush toys.
